Happy GDPR-versary!

25th May 2023 is the 5 year anniversary of the GDPR (the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679) taking effect across the EEA.

While Brexit means that the EU GDPR no longer applies in the UK in its original form - the UK having adopted the UK GDPR with effect from 01 January 2021 - the two are currently almost identical.
