Recent court decisions have demonstrated the complexity of ensuring that all relevant factors are taken into account when conducting a Data Protection Impact Assessment, whether under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 2018), and ensuring that wider legal issues are taken into account.
